The Golden Globes 2018 were all about the MeToo movement. Host Seth Meyers talked about it, winners talked about it in their speeches and almost everyone was dressed in black. This was a show of resistance against sexual misconduct and the abuse of power. Oprah Winfrey won the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which is an award for her entire oeuvre.  Lady Bird  won the Award for Best Musical/Comedy, from which film Saoirse Ronan also won the Best Actress Award.  Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri  won in the Drama category and its leading lady Frances McDormand also won a Best Actress Award. As I said, most of the women dressed in black this night. However, this didn't mean the dresses couldn't be pretty 😉. My favorites of the night were Alicia Vikander (her afterparty look), Diane Kruger, Katherine Langford, Kerry Washington and Laura Harrier. The biggest winners of the Oscars 2018 were  The shape of water  and  Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri.  The former won the Best Picture Academy Award. Gary Oldman won the Best Actor award for his role in  Darkest Hour,  and Frances McDormand was declared the Best Actress for  Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri.  The Oscars were hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. You have noticed that the Oscars happened a bit later this year; this was because the Winter Olympics were also happening this year, and the Oscars didn't want to interfere with this broadcasting. That was the obligatory recap of the night 😁, let's now get to the fun part: the fashion! There were some truly beautiful looks. I have listed the best looks (according to me) down below.
