SAG Awards 2018

The best and brightest of film and television gathered at the SAG Awards. The night was all about celebrating women; Kristen Bell was the first female host, all awards were handed out by women and some women (Nicole Kidman) gave feminist, empowering speeches.

The biggest winner for the film categories was Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. Two actors won big acting awards and the entire cast won the SAG award for Best Motion Picture. Gary Oldman won Best Actor award for his role in Darkest Hour, and Allison Janney won Best Supporting Actress for I, Tonya.
In television, This is Us was a big winner, receiving the Best  Drama Series award, and Sterling K. Brown being awarded the Best Actor award. Other acting awards were won by Alexander Skarsgard and Nicole Kidman for the miniseries Big Little Lies. Just like last year, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and William H. Macy also won awards for their performances.

Now, let’s talk about the fashion. I think everyone really brought their A-game to the SAG Awards. I had a difficult time selecting my favorites, since a lot of looks were so good! Finally, I ended up with the looks down below. I like all those dresses, but I especially loved the looks from Margot Robbie, Brie Larson, Lupita Nyong’o, Natalie Dyer and Olivia Munn. Summer is almost over, but that doesn’t stop me from fawning over sandals .
