Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having an amazing holiday. As you might know, today it’s Christmas, but it’s also my posting day. So to keep with the fancy outfits that correspond with the holidays, I decided to select my favorite clutches today. Clutches are the perfect party bag; you can carry around everything you need, and they complement an outfit very well. They can be understated and elegant, but also eye catching and they certainly are the perfect addition to your look. Some of my favorite clutches are down below. There are simple ones, fancy ones and everything in between. I also love ‘crazy’ clutches, they are more art than practical bags I think. Some people love it, some hate it. I’m talking about velvet, of course! No, not delicious red velvet cupcakes (sadly), but the soft fabric. Velvet might be one of the most festive fabrics. Everything about velvet reminds me of Christmas, especially if it’s a red velvet. So yes, a velvet dress, a velvet top, or even velvet shoes or pants are perfect for the holidays. But now I want to show you that velvet can also work for a casual look. Velvet tops and blazers are in my opinion the clothes that could best be worn casually. They add a cool dimension and a luxury, rich feel to any look. There are also multiple types of velvet; crushed velvet, chiffon velvet, velveteen… enough to choose from! Since the holidays are around the corner (just 2 weeks to go!), I decided to go a little festive today and find some amazing sequin looks. Because let’s be real, Christmas and New Years aren’t complete without sequins. Sequins are like the definition of festive; sparkling, fun, flirty… it’s got it all. And whatever way you want to go with sequins, it works. Dresses, skirt, tops, and even pants look amazing with sequins. Just pick your favorite! I picked mine, and listed them down below.
