Some
people love it, some hate it. I’m talking about velvet, of course! No, not
delicious red velvet cupcakes (sadly), but the soft fabric.
Velvet
might be one of the most festive fabrics. Everything about velvet reminds me of
Christmas, especially if it’s a red velvet. So yes, a velvet dress, a velvet
top, or even velvet shoes or pants are perfect for the holidays. But now I want
to show you that velvet can also work for a casual look. Velvet tops and blazers
are in my opinion the clothes that could best be worn casually. They add a cool
dimension and a luxury, rich feel to any look. There are also multiple types of
velvet; crushed velvet, chiffon velvet, velveteen… enough to choose from!
To demonstrate
this fact – yes, it is a fact, just believe me on that š – I added some of my favorite velvet looks down
below. Check it out for holiday dresses, for chic looks, but also for more
casual looks. As always, the link to buy an item and/or the name of the blog
the picture is originally from are below the pictures. Check those out as well
if you like the velvet items!
