The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Insitute benefit, which is better known as the MET Gala, is one of fashion biggests nights. The event is hosted to raise money for the fashion department of the MET. The night is known for having a lot of celebrities attending and a lot of amazing fashion. Sadly, tickets are $30,00 and a table costs about $275,000 (!!). Even if you can afford this, you need permission of Anna Wintour herself. The theme of the night was "Comme des garçons". This is a Japanese fashion label founded by Rei Kawakubo. She has often been described as one of the most influential designers of the 20th and 21st century. The clothing she designs are very avant-garde, and she doesn't stick to any rules whatsoever. She herself says her clothing is weird, and she even once said she is trying to "not make clothes". Let’s start off with a quick recap of the 69 th  Emmy Awards. The Emmy’s 2017 were hosted by Stephen Colbert.  The Handmaid’s Tale  won the Outstanding Drama Series Award, which was pretty special since they are the first streaming series to do so.  Big Little Lies  won the Outstanding Limited Series award and  Veep  won the Comedy Series award.  Last Week Tonight with John Oliver  won the Best Variety Talk Series award. The biggest winners of the night were  SNL, Handmaid’s Tale  and  Big Little Lies , whose actors won most of the awards. Let’s now take a look at the fashion. The stars of television really brought their A-game to the Emmy’s. There were a lot of beautiful looks, but the ones that really stood out to me were looks from Yara Shahidi, Nicole Kidman, Vanessa Kirby and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
